The law requires that all process brought to the Sheriff for service must be accompanied by adequate legal instructions. The instructions must state the process to be served, the person or entity to be served, the location for service and be signed by the attorney of the party or by the party, if he has no attorney. You can use the links below to display instruction forms that can be used for certain types of processes. Certain types of levies, such as keeper levies, require very specific instructions. The use of these forms will ensure that all of the required information needed by the Sheriff will be included in your instructions.
