Visiting Inmates

• Visiting at the Southwest Detention Center is by appointment only. Visitors must call the day before the requested visiting day to set an appointment. Each housing unit has specific days for visiting with appointments available in the morning, afternoon and evening. Inmates may have two visits on a given visiting day. However, the visits are limited to one in the morning and one in the evening.

• Visiting appointments are scheduled daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm by calling (951) 696-3470.

• A maximum of two adults and two children are allowed per visit.

• Visitor check in begins 30 minutes before the visit start time and ends 10 minutes before the visit start time. Please refer to the schedule below to determine visitation days and times.

• Please note, appointments must be made by phone for administratively segregated inmates and the housing location of any inmate may change periodically. Therefore, it is recommended that you call the jail to confirm their housing location and determine their current visiting schedule.
