Work Release Program

Full-Time Work Release

The objective of the Full-Time Work Release Program is to offer an alternative to incarceration
while at the same time reduce the overcrowding in the County Jail System.

Eligibility

Sentence to county jail time
No pending court cases
Physically fit to perform manual labor
Must work 5 days a week at an assigned job site
Must work 8 to 10 hours a day in lieu of 1-day jail time
Permanent Residency
Reliable transportation
Pay a $90 Administrative Fee (may be waived)

Inmates can not be in custody on driving under the influence with injury
or excessive history, violent related charges, sex related charges, or more than two manufacturing charges

Processing

Step 1: Complete Work Release Application
Step 2: Sign Promise to Appear Contract
Step 3: Sign Rules and Regulations [English] [Spanish]
Step 4: Sign Liability Waiver

Full-Time Work Release participants are able to find employment while on the program.
The Work Release supervisor may approve a participant's request to decrease the number of work days.
