On March 15, 1983, the County Board of Supervisors authorized the Sheriff to establish a Work Release Program under the authority of section 4024.2 of the California Penal Code. The program has been divided into three divisions:
Full-Time Work Release
Part-Time Work Release
Supervised Electronic Confinement ProgramGovernment agencies and qualifying non-profit orgranizations provides over 100 job sites
for participants to complete their sentence
throughout Riverside County
Request to become a participating agency
