Unidentified Victim

INFORMATION NEEDED
DECEASED NEWBORN BABY GIRL

On April 28, 1997, the deceased body of a newborn baby was located in a remote area along Hwy. 74, east of the Cranston Ranger Station. The body was transported to the Riverside County Coroner's office where an autopsy was subsequently conducted. The preliminary results of the autopsy failed to identify the cause of death, however the Coroner's pathologist was able to identify the body as a full term Caucasian baby girl with light colored hair. The investigation is continuing and assistance is needed from the public in order to identify the baby and/or mother.
