Riverside County Sheriff / Coroner's Bureau Public Relations And Presentations By The Coroner's Bureau

The Sheriff-Coroner provides speakers and instructors for both law enforcement and the public in an effort to present the mission of the Coroner's Bureau and our role within the community and the criminal justice system.

The Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau is a medicolegal investigative unit that works concurrently with medical professionals and forensic specialists. Deputies from the Bureau provide instruction/information classes to nursing students, hospice staff workers, college level criminal justice programs, skydiving instructor certification courses, and various other groups that have interest. Our staff presents a block of instruction for each Sheriff's Basic Academy class on death investigations. We provide personnel to present phases of the death investigation courses at the Basic Coroner Death Investigation Course in Orange County. We have deputies interact with the community and community concerns with groups such as M.A.D.D. and various "at risk" youth programs.
