Southwest of the 91 Freeway Reporting Officer: Sgt. Dennis Gutierrez – Public Information Officer File Number:   Details: On Sunday, the Brea Police Department took a missing persons report. On Monday, the Corona Police Department located the missing person’s pick-up truck in the area of Green River, south of the 91 freeway in the hills. On Tuesday, October 20, 2009, about 2:25 pm, after an extensive search by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, The United States Department of Forestry, The Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the Long Beach Police Department, the Brea Police Department, the Corona Police Department and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department the person was located. A death investigation was initiated by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. An autopsy will be conducted on Wednesday morning. The cause of death will be pending due to toxicology reports which will take six to eight weeks. No further information will be released on this incident at this time. ###
